Dietary requirements

How we manage these

In preparation of the Tour, you come up with two dishes:

  1. Your tasting dish
  2. A vegetarian alternative

In principle, all visitors will be served your tasting dish. However, some of them can't eat it due to allergies or diet. Those visitors will get your alternative dish.

This way, you only prepare 2 dishes, while still being able to serve everybody on the Tour.

No options in advance: Don't give the guest options. Serve your tasting dish and the alternative only if they are allergic or cannot eat it because of dietary restrictions.

All dietary requirements are known in advance. Check the website or the app for an actual list.

DON'T offer all visitors a choice. This will help you to focus on great service, reduce waste and costs.

Example

  • Tasting dish: pork belly with cashew nuts
  • Alternative: beetroot with goats cheese
  • Visitor 1 with nut allergy gets alternative
  • Visitor 2 is lactose intolerant gets tasting dish
  • Visitor 3 doesn't eat meat, but does eat fish. Gets alternative

Any dietary requirements are shown in your screen as soon as you scan a ticket.
