Guest rotation

How visitors move through your restaurant

Schema Round Overview

Understanding the Schematic

The visual representation shows how the 300 visitors are split into 6 groups of approximately 50 people each.

While each group starts at a different restaurant and follows a set rotation order, guests do not walk as a single group.

Instead, they explore the restaurants at their own pace with their own companions.

  • Start Time: The tour begins at 12:00 PM.
  • End Time: All guests must enter their last restaurant by 5:00 PM.
  • 6 Rounds: There are 6 rounds in total, with each round lasting roughly 40 minutes. Guests have ample time to enjoy their dish before moving on to the next restaurant, but the exact timing may vary based on their personal pace.

Each group rotates through the 6 participating restaurants in a pre-arranged order, so by the end of the day, all guests will have visited all six venues.

⚠️ Important Reminder

Guests walk at their own pace with their own companions. Although they follow the set order of restaurants, they do not stay together as a large group.

Make sure your staff is prepared to serve guests as they arrive individually or in small groups throughout the round.

Group Movement

Group Movement

The schematic illustrates how all six groups of approximately 50 visitors each rotate between the restaurants.

Each group begins the tour at a different starting point, and after completing their first stop, they move to the next restaurant in the sequence.

  • Movement Cycle: After guests finish their first round at the initial restaurant (around 12:30 PM), they proceed to the next venue

For example:

  • Group 1 starts at Restaurant 1 and moves to Restaurant 2 for the second round.
  • Group 2 starts at Restaurant 2 and then moves to Restaurant 3, and so on.

This rotation ensures that all groups experience all six restaurants in a structured but staggered fashion.

Key Points to Note

  • Each group follows a pre-set order of restaurants but moves at their own pace with their companions.
  • The rotation ensures that no two groups arrive at the same restaurant simultaneously, preventing overcrowding.
  • Restaurants serve approximately 50 guests per round, providing ample time for guests to enjoy their dish before moving on.
